I'm Gayathri - a data engineer and builder based in Boston. I'm finishing my MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University, where I focused on computer vision, machine learning, and algorithms.
My real passion is building data systems that solve real problems - the kind where you have to think about everything from raw ingestion to what the stakeholder actually needs on their dashboard.
At Humatics Corporation, I worked with real-time railway sensor data - analyzing time-series signals across 5+ operational corridors, building geospatial pipelines that improved accuracy by 30%, and integrating external data sources that reduced false alerts by 18%. That experience taught me what production data systems actually look like.
Since then, I've built three production-grade analytics platforms from scratch - spanning healthcare, e-commerce, and enterprise analytics. The e-commerce platform includes an AI operations agent that lets non-technical users query the system in natural language.
